Coast Guard borrows Navy Chaplains

Before you can apply be a military chaplain in any branch, you must have fulfilled the following requirements:

A Baccalaureate Degree
A Master of Divinity (or equivalent) Degree
Be endorsed by a federally recognized Ecclesiastical Endorsing Agent (I hear Augsburg is great!)

Keep in mind that this part of the process is a government process!

The recruiting and vetting process for entering the military is difficult and time consuming with literal and figurative trials and tribulations to endure. If you meet someone who made it through the process quickly and easily, that's nice for them. Don't expect it to work so well for you.
