Becoming An Augsburg  Candidate

​

Candidates must:

1. Obtain the essential Credentials

2. Complete the application for call (colloquy process)  

3. Be recommended for candidacy by the Augsburg Pastor and endorsed for candidacy by the Augsburg Endorsing Agent

4. Have a passion for ministry and a willingness to achieve physical and mental tasks beyond what is expected of the average student.

Essential Credentials for Candidacy

1. Obtain an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution. 

2. Be endorsed by the Augsburg Endorsing Agent to the Armed Forces.

3. Enroll in an accredited program that meets the requirements for accessioning as a military Chaplain
